The Blues sat rock bottom of the U18 Premier League after 8 losses with just one win and one draw all season, so there was plenty to do to improve upon that. And they responded to the challenge! Coby Ebere turned the game Everton's way with a fantastic hat-trick in the space of 5 minutes just before the hour mark. Harrison Armstrong got the fourth with the home side getting a consolation goal near the end. Young U16 player Kean Wren, making his fifth appearance since stepping up to the U18s as a sub, was credited with two assists.
