Disclaimer () Michael Kenrick 1 Posted 29/11/2024 at 20:31:49 Brighton finally make the breakthrough — clever header from Mitoma Michael Kenrick 2 Posted 29/11/2024 at 21:34:00 That was a nicely constructed second goal for Southampton, but eventually (after an age) ruled out. I just hate this use of VAR. Mark Murphy 3 Posted 29/11/2024 at 21:36:59 I dont care who it benefits or how many close decisions its “correcting” I hate it.Its fcuked football. Jim Bennings 4 Posted 29/11/2024 at 21:38:44 Worrying for us the teams below us look like they are beginning to find their feet this season.Saints are looking lively. Ian Jones 5 Posted 29/11/2024 at 21:40:22 Agree with you Michael. Took about 4 mins from the time goal scored to rule it offside. Not sure of the lines drawn were parallel so scorer looked onside. I thought he was off. Then decision given as Armstrong made a move towards the ball. The game is broken these days. Ian Jones 6 Posted 29/11/2024 at 21:50:21 In other news, Tom Davies scores his first goal for Sheffield United. Now there's a player to divide our fanbase :) Fred Quick 8 Posted 29/11/2024 at 22:18:05 Ian @6It was a good battling goal by Davies, plenty of determination shown and he managed to nick it past the keeper. As for the Saints disallowed goal, I was certain they were going to award it, when it took so long to look at it, all the time, from first viewing to the interminable wait ended, I thought the lad who scored was well off, but by the time they decided, I thought they'd convinced themselves and me that it was onside.
