Stockport County 4 - 1 Everton U21s
Everton's Under-21s are back in action this evening when they play Stockport County in Northern Section Group A of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy at Edgeley Park.
Down by two goals at half-time as a result of poor defending, this very young Everton side was weakened by having a handful of players sat on the bench as used subs as the first team went out of the Carabao Cup on penalties to Southampton.
Omari Benjamin scored Everton's consolation goal after 83 minutes and was then replaced by Braiden Graham.
Everton: Leban, Heath (83' Finney), Butler (63' Van Schoor), Samuels-Smith [Y:15'], Tierney, Thomas, Bates, J Patterson (63' Foster [Y:67']), Whitaker, Beaumont-Clark (63' Catesby), Benjamin (83' Graham)
Subs not Used: G Pickford, Loney.
