Everton U18s 2 – 1 Sunderland U18s

A pair of quick goals from Cairan Looney just before half-time turned this math for Everton U18s against Sunderland at Finch Farm on Thursday afternoon.

The visitors took the lead mid-way through the first half but on the verge of half-time, Cairan Looney scored a brace of quick goals to put the Young Blues ahead at the break. And that’s how it finished.

Everton U18s:  Lukjanciks, Gardner, Poland, Davis, Van Schoor, Foster, Stewart, Olayiwola (63’ Akarakiri), Loney, Grahm (66’ Roberts), Clarke (80’ Wren).

Subs not Used: Patrick, Billington.

The Youths were knocked out of the F.A Youth cup by Plymouth Argyle 1-0 at Walton Hall Avenue Stadium, the goal came from a penalty. Never saw any of the game but from reports Plymouth defended very well but Everton never really got into the game.
