Everton U21s 4 - 1 Warrington Rylands

Everton U21s reached the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup with a convincing 4-1 victory over Warrington Rylands at Walton Hall Park on Monday night after beating Widnes in the semi-final last month.

Martin Sherif was quick off the mark with a goal after 7 minutes a great delivery by Butterfield was volleyed back across goal by Barker for the centre-forward to convert.

Martin Sherif grabbed a second after 28 minutes when he got on the end of a low cross by George Finney. Just 2 minutes later and Owen Barker had made it 3-0 after Sherif had made a great steal in midfield.

Warrington Rylands pulled a goal back just after the hour mark, but substitute Jacob Beaumont-Clark sealed a deserved win late on with a shot from wide right that smacked the base of the far post and went in.

Everton U21s: Barnsley, Finney, Van Schoor, Davis, Thomas, Butterfield (60' Foster), Baker, Bates (75' J Patterson), Sherif (60' Morgan), Heath (60' Gomez), Boakye (60' Beaumont-Clark).

Subs not Used: Gospel-Eze, Samuels-Smith. [Substitutions are unverified]

Sadly, Marine were knocked out prior to their marked upturn in form which has seen them safe from any threat of relegation.

Good result; fingers crossed for the win.

Is Gospel-Eze real? Never seems to get picked from what I've noticed.
