Everton U21s 4 - 1

Everton U21s reached the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup with a convincing 4-1 victory over Warrington Rylands at Walton Hall Park on Monday night after beating Widnes in the semi-final last month.

Marin Sherif was quick off the mark with a goal after 7 minutes, and he grabbed a second after 28 minutes. Just 2 minutes later and Owen Barker had made it 3-0. Warrington Rylands pulled a goal back just after the hour mark, but substitute Jacob Beaumont-Clark sealed a deserved win late on.

Everton U21s: Barnsley, Finney, Van Schoor, Davis, Thomas, Butterfirld, Baker, Bates, Sherif, Heath, Boakye.

Subs: Gospel-Eze, Samuels-Smith, Gomez (Foster), J Patterson, (Beaumont-Clark), Morgan.

Sadly, Marine were knocked out prior to their marked upturn in form which has seen them safe from any threat of relegation.
