Season › 2013-14 › News Junior Blues Join the Goodison Team , 9 January, 0comments | Jump to most recent The visit of Norwich marks the Club's official Junior Fans' Day and to celebrate ten lucky supporters have been invited to go behind-the-scenes with members of Goodison's matchday team. Radio City's Rossie will be joined on the mic by our very own mini stadium announcer, 9 year-old Thomas. Ahead of kick-off the youngster will pay a visit to the Fan Zone to help get supporters warmed up before taking his seat in the dugout to announce the teams. In the corporate lounges, 13 year-old Daisy and 12 year-old Harry will try their hand at being a MC for the day, chatting with special guests and even introducing the Everton man of the match! The Goodison ground staff will also have extra help on Saturday as 10 year-old William and 9 year-old Dominic join the team to put out the corner flags, fix the goals and prepare the pitch for action. In the press box, 10 year-old Ben will get the chance to put his reporting skills to the test when he joins the evertontv team for the day. As well as helping with the match report, Ben will interview an Everton legend, capture all the behind-the-scenes action and be the first to hear the post-match reaction. Article continues below video content And 10 year-old Libby is donning a safety jacket for the day as she shadows the Stadium Safety Officer in the matchday control room. The lucky group were selected as winners of a competition that invited Evertonians aged 7-15 to be a part of Junior Fan Day. The fixture is dedicated to the Club's new generation of young supporters and there's a host of fun activities planned ahead of kick-off. In the Fan Zone, local boyband ‘Gump' will be performing, a football freestyler will be showcasing his skills, and the EA Sports dugout will be in position for fans to challenge their friends to a pre-match game of FIFA 14. There's also a limited-edition version of the matchday programme to be handed out to junior fans around the ground. The free 16-page offering includes an exclusively designed front cover by an artist, who draws for Marvel comics. Tickets for the Blues' clash with Norwich City are still available.
