FA fine Everton for breaching football agent regulations

Everton have been fined £45,000 for an illegal approach in 2010 for Nottingham Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles, the Football Association have announced.

The club were found to have breached the FA's football agent regulations and Andy Niedzwiecki, the agent who was representing Lascelles at the time, has also been fined £10,000 and warned as to his conduct.

An Everton spokesman said: “Everton Football Club accepts the findings of the FA inquiry."
