Season › 2013-14 › News Fine win for U18s at Sunderland Michael Kenrick , 19 April, 0comments | Jump to most recent Everton Under-18s extended their unbeaten league run to 10 games with a commanding 2-0 win at Sunderland on Saturday afternoon. The young Blues are vying with Manchester City for top spot of Group One, with a place in the end of season play-offs already sealed as goals from Calum Dyson and Michael Donohue earned victory at the Academy of Light. The Toffees were in control of the contest from the off, creating numerous opportunities in the first half while nullifying the Black Cats. And soon after the interval, Courtney Duffus crossed from the right and Dyson was on hand to head home at the far post. Duffus then saw three efforts saved by the Sunderland goalkeeper and Harry Charsley fired inches wide of the post. Three points were in the bag on 65 minutes when substitute winger Donohue eased past his marker and ran through on goal to finish in fine fashion.
