Coleman had four years left on his existing deal but the new contract extends his term to 2019 and ups his salary, a reward for his superb form in 2013-14 which saw him named the club's player of the year. The 25 year-old's contract extension will also ward off interest from rival clubs in his signature and hopefully put to bed speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal. “I was delighted to get the chance to sign another contract'" he said.
