Nathan Broadhead scored another hat-trick as the Young Blues beat Derby County 3-1 at Finch Farm this morning.

The forward had Everton a goal up at half time and doubled the lead with an hour gone before the visitors pulled one back through Luke Thomas.

Broadhead made sure of the win with his third late on.

Everton's missed out on the U18 Premier League title on goal difference to Manchester City but they are into the final league play-offs next week.

Everton: O’Loughlin, Yates, Mellen, Harrington, Lees, Yarney, Bramall, Baningime, Lavery, Broadhead, Holland
Subs: Pierce, Kiersey, Myers, Withe, Hornby

The young blues go into the play-offs as one of the form teams so we have expectations!

This is the first reference I’ve seen to Fraser Hornby, named as a substitute, who we signed 18 months ago from Northampton, a few months after we signed the Irish forward Stephen Kinsella who has already debuted for the U18s.

Another good win, would be nice to unearth a few gems from this bunch.

John (#1) what position is Fraser Hornby, first I’ve heard of him.

Kinsella has been unlucky with injuries, has he played much lately?
