"New Everton striker, Sandro, starts" according to Sky commentator. Kim Vivian 2 Posted 17/06/2017 at 19:49:13 Watching Deulofeu with interest tonight. I like Del and think we will regret his departure if he actually goes. Brent Stephens 3 Posted 17/06/2017 at 19:55:50 Wow. Sign that Saul! Seamus McCrudden 4 Posted 17/06/2017 at 19:56:41 Fuckin hell! We'd better sign El Overheadkickio too! Colin Glassar 5 Posted 17/06/2017 at 19:57:24 Kim, he's being forced out. Brilliant goal from Saul. Brent Stephens 6 Posted 17/06/2017 at 19:57:53 The conversion of Saul! Brent Stephens 7 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:02:46 And another brilliant goal. Seamus McCrudden 8 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:04:46 Deulofeu as frustrating as ever. Brent Stephens 9 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:05:51 Terrible passing from Del boy. Colin Glassar 10 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:06:28 I don't think Sandro has touched the ball yet. Kim Vivian 11 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:21:04 Deulofeu scores. Penalty. Jim Knightley 12 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:21:44 Guys - what channel is this on? Brent Stephens 13 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:22:18 Sky Sports. Colin Glassar 14 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:22:24 3-0 Spain (Sandro still hasn't touched the ball). Frightening quality from the Spanish. Brent Stephens 15 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:24:28 Colin, Sandro gave a pass from the wing after about 10 mins. A headed chance later. And now 2 excellent touches. Jim Knightley 16 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:25:24 Cheers - something else was showing on my listings for some reason. Kim Vivian 17 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:25:50 See that a couple of mins ago, Colin? Colin Glassar 18 Posted 17/06/2017 at 20:30:24 Macedonia have some very decent players tbh. Colin Glassar 19 Posted 17/06/2017 at 21:10:21 Sandro has been a complete non-entity in this game so far. Colin Glassar 20 Posted 17/06/2017 at 21:23:02 Hard to judge Sandro on tonight's performance. Very little service to feed on. Kim Vivian 22 Posted 17/06/2017 at 21:26:46 I thought Sandro worked hard and put himself into some good positions but as you say, Colin, didn't get the service. Deulofeu a bit random... Aaron Boyle 23 Posted 17/06/2017 at 21:50:18 Deulofeu was poor. I think he's walking on thin ice; we could see the last of him after this tournament. His link-up play was terrible as well. Sandro had limited service; too early to judge. Gavin Johnson 24 Posted 17/06/2017 at 22:11:06 I wonder if there's any way back for Deulofeu now and whether he'd stay even if he was in Koeman's plans?! Personally I'd like him to stay and compete with Bolasie as our right winger. Gary Willock 25 Posted 17/06/2017 at 22:55:25 3-2-3-2: Holgate, Williams, Keane; Schneiderlin, Gueye; Deulofeu, Sandro, Klaassen;Lukaku (World Cup year – ya never know)Or: Browning, Funes Mori, Galloway; Besic, McCarthy; Dowell, Calvert-Lewin, Lookman;AN OtherWith Pennington, Kenny, Barry, Williams and Tarashaj as options to change and bring in. Life is good – enjoy Spurs, Ross! Gary Willock 26 Posted 17/06/2017 at 23:00:29 Don't forget Bolasie, Leighton and Seamus and the 1-2 extra we'll get (hopefully). Good time to be Blue! Gary Willock 28 Posted 17/06/2017 at 23:12:58 Can't believe I missed Tom! Sorry gents. Kieran Fitzgerald 29 Posted 18/06/2017 at 07:27:41 At this stage I would look to keep Deulofeu. We don't have any other creativity in the midfield. I know the transfer window has only just opened but until we get quality in, we may need to keep him. Gary Willock 30 Posted 18/06/2017 at 08:34:59 Playing fantasy football, on a Saturday night in Mid June after a few scoops too many, and whilst clearly in no fit state to even count! :) Just a little bit excited about where we are heading I guess! Really do believe that with 2-3 more additions (still very light up front) we'll have a squad capable of almost anything. #COYB Dave Abrahams 31 Posted 18/06/2017 at 08:53:56 Sandro has only played four or five times for the Spanish U23s. Maybe that is the reason he wasn't in the game as much; he certainly put himself about and in position to receive the ball.Let's see him in an Everton shirt and what he can do for us he will at the very least bring plenty of movement to the team, something some of the present players don't even think about doing. Paul Newton 32 Posted 18/06/2017 at 09:28:45 I wonder what Deulofeu would have said to Sandro about the club. They must surely have talked about it. Hopefully nothing offputting. Dave Williams 33 Posted 18/06/2017 at 09:55:09 I should think Sandro's head is all over the place at the moment moving to live and work in a foreign country at a mere 21 years old if it was me I certainly wouldn't be able to focus on an under 23 game at the end of a long season in Spain! All these new boys will need time to settle in and acclimatise. They look class players (no pun intended) and are the right age too. We all need to have trust in Walsh and his team and encourage the new players. With a bit of luck, they will come good. I don't see Deulofeu being part of it moments of brilliance but a liability for the rest of the time. Drew O'Neall 34 Posted 18/06/2017 at 10:56:19 Put yourself in Sandro's shoes. You're having a think and you speak to Deulefeo and Robles about what the club and Koeman's like.. While we are all excited about the prospect of Sandro and the others we have signed, they are also all gambles and unproven at the level of Lukaku and indeed Barkley for that matter.I'd like to see some established quality brought in to command the centre forward position at least. A Carlos Bacca type would be acceptable to offset the risk of these youngsters. Or alternatively, telling Rom he's going nowhere until at least next year. The former solution being preferred due to Lukaku's lack of teamwork in a rebuilding phase. Colin Glassar 35 Posted 18/06/2017 at 11:05:09 Paul, Gerry has always spoken very highly of the club, players and fans and seemed settled in Liverpool. The fact that Ronald didn't/doesn't rate him I don't think would lead him to be talking shite behind our backs. I hope not anyway. Andy Meighan 36 Posted 18/06/2017 at 11:55:29 Still some of our fans burning a torch for Deulofeu. Just accept Koeman doesn't rate him and has probably seen him for what he is – a complete waste of space, a diver, and the unfittest footballer I've ever seen in my life. He's not coming back. He's fucking useless, end of. Dermot Byrne 37 Posted 18/06/2017 at 14:27:51 Jesus it comes to something when we start worrying about what one kid says to another. Is there a site where alleged chats are posted?"Hi, how ya doing Gerry?""Not so bad"LATEST: Deulofeu Not Fully Happy Shock Graeme Hodgkinson 38 Posted 18/06/2017 at 21:12:40 Gary Willock no Davies, Mirallas or Barkley in either line-up? Joseph Terrence 40 Posted 19/06/2017 at 01:12:19 Barcelona will trigger Deulofeu's buy-back clause. Everton to receive 㾶.5m. Colin Metcalfe 41 Posted 19/06/2017 at 02:06:01 Where did you see that, Joeseph? Has that been officially confirmed by Barcelona? Joseph Terrence 42 Posted 19/06/2017 at 02:35:32 Colin, Paul Joyce tweeted it and he is one of the few reliable journalists. Jamie Sweet 43 Posted 19/06/2017 at 02:57:58 Bye bye, Geri. Thanks for the memory. Phil Sammon 44 Posted 19/06/2017 at 03:14:51 Depends if he wants to go of course. Does he fancy a season on Barca's bench? They can't loan him.
