Meanwhile we have 30 odd players with the inverse attributes. Mike Doyle 2 Posted 06/01/2020 at 19:09:34 Kieran. He's probably not good enough for the EPL - just like the shower who represented us yesterday which featured the slowest moving midfield pairing (trio when Delph came on) in all of Christendom. Bill Watson 3 Posted 06/01/2020 at 23:04:12 Good luck to him but why do we have so many players in their early 20s, and with no real chance of the first team squad, still hanging about? Kieran Kinsella 4 Posted 06/01/2020 at 23:11:46 Bill 3So that Unsie can win the prestigious EPL2 by playing men against 16 and 17 year olds. Steve Ferns 5 Posted 07/01/2020 at 11:41:01 Good luck to the lad. I hope the highlight of his career is not the World Cup win and he can do something at senior level. He's been on loan for the last two seasons so he's not been in the u23s at all. Harry Charsley is the one Unsworth keeps selecting even though his contract supposedly expired and he's almost an overage player now. Phil Smith 6 Posted 07/01/2020 at 15:58:02 Charsley keeps playing so that he can find a club, apparently. Everton are nothing if not loyal to their players, even if they're ex-players. Think of Jose Baxter. The main aim of the U23s is to get all players to a league club and not get them ready for the first team. Therein lies the problem with our set-up. Aim low Everton... pfffff Jack Convery 7 Posted 07/01/2020 at 17:53:47 Rumour was we offered them their pick of Schnieds, Siggy and Walcott. After they had stopped laughing they said they preferred Connolly. Not daft the people at Fleetwood. Tony Everan 8 Posted 08/01/2020 at 10:19:16 Sounds like a good name for a band ''Connolly goes to Fleetwood''Good luck to the lad, I hope he does well.
