The moment has finally arrived for the fans to return and welcome the start of the 2021-22 Premier League Season.

Newly promoted Brentford take on Arsenal in this evening's big kick-off, shown live in the UK on Sky Sports (8:00 pm BST) and on overseas services throughout the world.

But only four of this weekend's other games are available on domestic television for football fans in the UK:

Saturday 14 August 2021
Man Utd v Leeds United — 12:30 BST on BT Sport 1
Norwich City v Liverpool — 17:30 BST on Sky Sports

Sunday 15 August 2021
Newcastle United v West Ham United — 14:00 BST on Sky Sports
Tottenham Hotspur v Man City — 16:30 BST on Sky Sports

While fans in much of the rest of the world can choose any or all of the 10 games on offer this weekend, UK fans who can't attend at the grounds hosting the other five games must find other ways to watch — often via illegal streams and dangerous sites bursting with malware — when many would be happy to pay their clubs for a secure feed. That day seems to be as far off as ever.
