Disclaimer Danny O’Neill 1 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:18:16 Well that lazy shit with an awful touch who can't tackle and didn't track back.Rolled the defender and blistering finish. Those who will criticise the keeper because it was near post, he wasn't expecting it and look at the pace on the shot.Great fight back from the Frenchies. Michael Kenrick 2 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:30:43 Fabulous winning goal by Lukaku...Ruled out for offside!!! Michael Kenrick 3 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:33:10 And up the other end... you couldn't make it up! Michael Kenrick 4 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:41:26 Roberto's boys are bolloxed again. Belgium winning 2-0, France come back to win 3-2. No Nations League Final for the Belgians. Dave Abrahams 5 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:45:14 Michael (2), I thought the Belgian wide player was offside when he received the ball but I think it was Lukaku who who marginally offside, loved the look on his face when it was ruled out. "Who, me?" he was asking, who the fuck did he think it was? Dave Abrahams 6 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:55:58 Love that Benzema, what a player he has been for Real Madrid and France over the years, not just scoring but assists and working constantly throughout the game, a great team player. Brendan McLaughlin 7 Posted 07/10/2021 at 21:56:11 Belgium comfortably winning 2-0 at the break...you have to wonder what Martinez said to them at half time? Michael Kenrick 8 Posted 07/10/2021 at 22:02:45 Yes, Dave @5, I think you're bang-on with that call. I thought the same that the winger was offside when he got the ball. And Romelu was also offside. Pity. Just a brilliant technique from the big 20-goal-a-season guy. Absolutely loved his goal (Belgium's 2nd) where he turned, made space, and from the narrowest of angles, fairly smashed it into the roof of the net. Wraps up on Sunday. I'd better add those games to the OP! Barry Rathbone 9 Posted 08/10/2021 at 10:47:47 Football of the highest quality from 2 fabulous attacking outfits could of gone either way, excellent stuff! Bill Gall 10 Posted 09/10/2021 at 16:29:08 Hate international breaks. Living in Canada, the only coverage is the Canadian National Team with the game and about 4 replays. Not really World Cup standard. Rick Tarleton 11 Posted 09/10/2021 at 16:56:33 To be honest, I have very little interest in watching international matches. Football is about your allegiance and mine is to Everton. Always pleased if England win, but have no emotional commitment to the score and pass on to the next item on TV. Michael Kenrick 12 Posted 10/10/2021 at 21:09:29 The Final finally comes to life. France, great break, hit underside of bar, Spain score. Michael Kenrick 13 Posted 10/10/2021 at 21:10:50 Then an absolute belter from Benzema! Michael Kenrick 14 Posted 10/10/2021 at 21:28:17 Tremendous finish from Mbappe but he looked to have been offside. Michael Kenrick 15 Posted 10/10/2021 at 21:39:40 Two fantastic saves from Lloris as Spain pile in. Oliver Molloy 16 Posted 10/10/2021 at 22:16:49 Congratulations to France and what a pity Digne could not play – hope he gets a winner medal. The two semis and this final were great matches. Bill Watson 17 Posted 11/10/2021 at 01:02:21 Rick #11Me too and I couldn't give a toss about England's score, either. All I want is for our players to return fit... which they rarely do! Jay Harris 18 Posted 11/10/2021 at 03:45:30 Don't know if anyone else noticed but there was a huge Everton flag behind the goal in Andorra.Great game today between France and Spain. Quality. Kieran Kinsella 19 Posted 11/10/2021 at 04:05:58 Phil Neville has finally lost it. Anyone see his Keegan style rant? Geoff Lambert 20 Posted 13/10/2021 at 19:00:00 Tom, agreed! England needed a goal so they took off the 3 most likely players to score, and brought on Henderson, Tammy Abraham and Saka. Clueless...
