Dan Meis expands on his reinvolvement in the new stadium build

Well it's very telling that he never once mentioned Moshiri. He mentioned The Chairman (Kenwright) but never once mentioned the owner. The closest was him saying 'the club'.

If we end up in a real relegation battle, is he still a Great Emotional Playwrite Evertonian who just happened to run the club at the worst time?

The Twittersphere, Facebook, Grand Old Team all have similar posts to what appears on here, the difference is on here we get varying points of view, mostly with reasonable backup to support arguments - but as with most sites, there will be those who post the same simple soundbites ad nauseam. That shouldn't mean that all of TW's contributors are tarred with the same brush.

I meant to add that Adam Jones has probably been briefed by the club that this is a sensitive time with regards to raising money for the BMD project and any negativity surrounding the club would make that job more difficult. The simple solution is for the team to start giving maximum effort and much of the negativity will be diluted.

I don't remember our neighbour's fans being chastised in quite the same way – maybe I missed it.

Say what you want about how shite we are at the moment but that is a beautiful stadium.

Rob 12 - in the interests of balanced reporting and journalism, I look forward to the same article writing penning a similar headline at the miserable sods within Everton FC who moan about the supporters' complaints about the 30 years managed (should that be mismanaged) decline of the club during which time our football stock and reputation as a footballing giant within the English game has been traduced.

I did get as high as the editor some years ago to complain about coverage; it does not seem to have improved. I must try harder – you have spurred me to repeat my complaints.

Go for it Ken. Dave Prentice is the one you need to get in touch with, and not Adam Jones who penned the article in question.

Adam Jones is a child barely out of school and writes regurgitated clickbait articles.

His job is to report the news, not to complain about people complaining about things.

Proper journos report the facts. Children and fan boys take a call from Kenwright and get all flustered and let him dictate their work.

In fairness, I did get a return phone call last time, I won't name out of courtesy to his candid comments initially, but it is clear that when he was pinned down on a couple of points, corporate-speak took over – they do not want to rock the EFC boat.

Interestingly Bramley-Moore, after whom the dock was named, made part of his fortune from trading in slaves in Brazil. Surely there should be some urgency in naming the stadium.
