Disclaimer Dave Abrahams 1 Posted 18/11/2021 at 20:20:13 I think Fulham U18s are in the league below Everton but are doing very well this season while Everton U18s are not doing too well. We have some promising players coming together who are eligible for this competition so I hope we have a good go at trying to win this prestigious cup as we are long overdue at winning it. Tony Abrahams 2 Posted 18/11/2021 at 20:33:36 I'd say Everton have got to take this competition seriously, Dave, for the sake of confidence of the younger players, who are now playing at a much higher level each week, with mixed results. The message would be: "You might be finding the age gap difficult whilst you are slowly making the transition to men's football, but look how good you are doing when you drop back down to your own age group, boys." That's my line of thought anyway. Dennis Stevens 3 Posted 18/11/2021 at 20:48:23 Hear! Hear! Tony. I know some of the young players who are eligible for this age group are regularly playing in the higher age group teams, but we should put out our strongest possible team for this competition.
