This was a replay of the game that was abandoned last November. Francis Okoronkwo returns to the U18s after getting his first start for the U23s against Leicester City last week. Everton went ahead through Halid Djankpata before the break. It was a pretty even contest with Everton's defence holding firm throughout to seal the win, Everton U18s: Leban, Quintyne, Wright (87' Jagne), Jones (57'Wilson), Tierney, Butterfield, Djankpata [Y:78'], Metcalfe [Y:35'], Sherif [Y:82'], Lawrence, Okoronkwo (70' Heath).
