Lawrence has shot wide, while Metcalfe had a shot blocked, before Everton took the lead with 10 minutes gone, via an own-goal, which is how it stayed until well after half-time. Everton went ahead through substitute Issac Heath on 67 minutes with a shot into the bottom corner. Heath had only just replaced Francis Okoronkwo 3 minutes earlier, and the goal secured back-to-back wins for the U18s the first time in 4 months. Everton U18s: Leban, Quintyne, Wright, Campbell, Wilson, Butterfield, Barker (77' Smikle-James), Metcalfe, Okoronkwo (64' Heath), Djankpata, Lawrence (77' Jagne).
