Disclaimer Alec Gaston 1 Posted 04/04/2022 at 19:40:02 No game between 9 April and 20 April, then 6 between 1 and 22 May – surely we could have played in the gap in April?? Philip Abbott 2 Posted 04/04/2022 at 19:48:20 Watford and Everton both free on FA Cup semi-final wkend but let's drag all the Everton fans down to London on a Wednesday night... Barry Hesketh 3 Posted 04/04/2022 at 19:58:51 Agree Phillip @2 Neither match is set for live broadcast in the UK either, so we can't blame the TV companies. Rob Halligan 4 Posted 04/04/2022 at 19:59:36 Philip, Watford play Brentford at home on the Saturday 16th April, the day of the first semi final. Barry Hesketh 5 Posted 04/04/2022 at 20:09:22 Cheers Rob - I didn't realise that, Apart from Leicester City away all of our matches are on Sundays or weekdays which means our meeting with Manchester United is the final Goodison game to be played on a Saturday this season. I do hope we can look forward to a Premier League game on a Saturday next season. Danny O’Neill 6 Posted 04/04/2022 at 21:45:27 From a selfish perspective Watford is my closest Premier League ground, followed closely by Brentford. I suppose with a bit of thought and rearranging, we could have played Watford on 16th April with the Watford v Brentford match switching to midweek.Probably all a bit difficult with ticket sales I guess.
