Season › 2021-22 › News Important access information for fans attending Merseyside derby Saturday, 23 April, 2022 0comments | Jump to most recent Evertonians attending Sunday's Merseyside derby at Anfield (kick off 4.30pm BST) are reminded to be aware of the access routes to the away fan turnstiles on matchday and to arrive early to avoid any delays entering the stadium. Due to ongoing construction works on the Anfield Road Stand, access routes around the stadium are restricted. This includes there being no access to Anfield Road from the direction of Arkles Lane. Visiting fans entering the away section turnstiles (N, O and P) must approach the stadium via Dahlia Walk onto 97 Avenue. Article continues below video content Away supporter coaches will park on Priory Road as close to Walton Lane as possible to assist supporters with accessing the ‘blue route' to the visitors' section. Fans are advised to arrive early at the stadium to allow enough time for necessary security checks. All visiting fans will be subject to searching and pyro detection dogs will be present. Please note, bags are not permitted in the stadium and there are no bag storage facilities available. Exceptions are made for small bags (A5 size) carrying essential personal items such as medicines and hygiene products. Away supporters are also reminded that upon exiting Anfield, they should turn left out of the stadium.
