Disclaimer Dave Abrahams 1 Posted 26/04/2022 at 20:38:29 We lost 1-0 with a Stoke goal seven minutes from the end. One more game to go for the U18s against Nottinghamshire Forest who haven't lost a game since February and beat Liverpool 1-0 today. Justin Doone 2 Posted 26/04/2022 at 22:29:18 We used to have a fairly successfull youth team but the players and set-up was about results not development. Now hopefully fucus will switch to development, ready for first team football. Focused, determined, athletic, skilful, team players. It may take another 5 year's but it's the right approach for long term benefit. Sam Hoare 3 Posted 27/04/2022 at 11:17:09 Justin, yes exactly. The results couldn't matter less so long as the players are being developed in the right way.Hopefully if that is happening then at some point the results may improve and winning is a good habit to get in to but positive development is the goal.
