Wherefore Richarlison?

I noticed the BBC gossip page have reported that Carlo Ancelotti wants to take Richarlison to Real Madrid despite his non-season at Tottenham Hotspur, where he has scored only one Premier League goal.

I know some people have issues with some of his behaviour and play-acting but the lad seemed irrepressible on the pitch.

Most clubs playing against him would try to subdue him but he has found himself at a club that is doing its utmost to undermine and humiliate him.

A move to Real Madrid might bring his form back up and, with Ancelotti, he would have that grandfather figure to put an arm around his shoulders.

But even better is the chance to see him score a Champions League winning goal against Liverpool and other despicable Euro Super League traitors in the Big Six!

Perhaps we could tempt him to come back to us, where he was truly loved? Suitably chastened, à la one Steven Pienaar?

But I can't see Levy giving us any discount – how much has his values plummeted? I'm sure he would want a King's Ransom for the Brazilian.

Richarlison always paid the price for the lack of chemistry with Calvert-Lewin. This was the highest level failure of our coaching staff; we never figured out how to use them together without a true No 10. Wish him well since he does the same toward us. How it is.

Richarlison's problem is that he is poor at passing the ball.Maybe at Real Madrid will set him up for a run on goal, but I do think they will him to be able to pass the ball.

I just saw the headline on Football transfers “ Real Madrid eye shock move for Tottenham flop”…
And knew it was about Richy and it made my blood boil. Of all the clubs he could've gone to Spurs were the worst option. A spurs mate of mine thinks he's shite and can't understand why I get annoyed with him. He's Brazils 9 and showed at the World Cup that that's not unearned. I hope he goes to Madrid and is loved like he was loved by us. Good luck Richy! 👍

I'd be surprised if Ancelotti remains at Madrid at the end of the season given their track record of sacking managers even after a CL win. No league title or CL trophy normally means ‘adios' over there so I can't see any likelihood of Richy going to Madrid.
