Arsenal U21s 3 - 1 Everton U21s

Everton U21s lost at Arsenal in the 11th game of their Premier League 2 campaign at Meadow Park, Borehamwood.

The Blues (Everton B?) lie 5th in a very tight top half of the Division 1 table, just 1 point behind the current leaders, who are their hosts for this game.

Arsenal took an early lead after just 6 minutes but Everton were back in the game just over 10 minutes later through Isaac Price. The home side scored again before the half-hour mark, and that's how it stayed until the break.

And after play resumed, Arsenal scored again to secure the win and top spot.

Not one of these lads have had a sniff of playing for the first team.

I have been pushing for Stan Mills to be included, even on the bench, but watching the first team yesterday, I don't think any of them would get any favours, at this time, playing for such a disorganised team.

It would be too much for them. They wouldn't let themselves down but wouldn't get much help from this lot, struggling themselves at the moment.

Patience Dave,I’m sure Mills will get a chance before too long, maybe on the Australia trip.

Phill (3), it’s the opposite of patience I need Phill, I don’t want him selected at the moment because I doubt it would do him any favours playing in this system, not many of the present team are doing themselves justice the way Lampard is setting them up.
