Everton U18s travelled to Newcastle this morning where they secured a draw in their U18 Premier League fixture.

Since returning from almost a month-long break in the playing schedule, Bainesey's Boys have had mixed results against north-east opposition with a good 3-0 win over Middlesborough preceded by a 4-1 loss to Sunderland.

Today's game saw the Young Blues pick up a point after the home side had taken the lead inside the first 11 minutes.  But a penalty awarded 4 minutes after half-time enabled Jacob Beaumont-Clark to slot home the equaliser.

Everton U18s: Jensen, Maher, Butler, O Samuels-Smith (71' Moonan), Jones, J Patterson [Y:25'], Beaumont-Clark, Bates [Y:27'] (72' Armstrong [Y:90+1']), Sherif, Apter [Y:85'], Ebere.

After extensive enquiries and using all my usual football friends and people who know other people in the football world, I finally found that this game kicked off later than was advertised and Newcastle led at half time 1-0 but in the second half we got a penalty which was calmly stroked home by Beaumont-Clark and the game finished 1-1.

I will be sending in my usual expenses sheet, Michael.

Dave, A good result after going behind.

No harm in sending your expenses form in, but you might be better off keeping hold of the £1 stamp money.

Yes, Agent Abrahams, your report falls well short of the standards expected… but then so does the non-coverage of this game at the Official Everton Website.

I know they just do it to annoy me specifically and mess with our unique statistical record of the Academy matches, teams and players. This time, I am prepared to mount a massive campaign via email and social media to secure release of this classified information for the benefit of the few who read these diligently prepared pages.

Why not pen an open letter to Chairman Bill, Michael?

By some devious route, I was able to secure promised team-sheet, line-up, and basic playing stats data for this game as now shown above, with EFC withered into submission and yielding said information with barely a whimper.
