Everton U21s 3 - 1 Fulham U21s

Everton U21s come back strongly to beat Fulham this evening at Walton Hall Park and reach the Premier League International Cup semi-finals after falling behind in the first half.

Michael Keane and Yousseff Chermiti came into the home side at Walton Hall Park for some rare game-time, while Francis Okoronkwo continued his return from an injury that had kept him out for the last 3 months.

Very soon after the half-time restart, Michael Keane jumped high to head in an Everton corner for the equalizer.   Everton went ahead through a penalty when Whitaker was fouled and Chermiti made no mistake from the spot.

And Chermiti followed that with a goal from open play when his shot was too strong for the keeper as it rolled over the line. But discipline slipped in the last few minutes as first Whitaker and then Chermitti were shown second yellow cards for kicking the ball away and Everton finished the game with 9 men.

Michael, is there any sign of the young player we signed from Italy a few weeks ago, can't think of his name, he's played once but there has been no mention of him since.

Looks like a good win, but two players sent off for silly nonsense. Not sure if this means Chermiti will be suspended from the first team squad?

Also, no sign of Dobbin, does that mean he is injured? Well done to the first-team players who played.

Dave, Kingsford Boakye? He's only 19 and this side was quite an experienced one so maybe he didn't make the squad? Or could be injured?

Sam (3),

Thanks, maybe he is injured because, apart from that first game, I don't think he has played since.

No suspension, David – confined to the competition, so misses semi-final!

Be good to see him play some decent minutes on Saturday as he can't do much worse!
