Good luck to the young blues.

I'm still disappointed that there was no mention of their Cup winning exploits in Germany on the official website. Surely they deserve encouragement and recognition!

It‘s 2-0 to Derby at the 90th minute.

Dan Rice, head of emerging talent at Everton is leaving in June, he came at the beginning of the season.

Dave (2) Is that a cost saving measure or is he leaving for a better job?

John (3),

Not sure, but I think you'll find that another coach or someone connected to run the Academy not so long ago and went to Spurs after one year or less.

I think they come expecting the position to be a chance to gain a good reputation by working and improving the players there but become, very quickly, underwhelmed and disappointed by how the Academy is run and how the coaches are appointed and by whom.

When the club has moved into more experienced and professional owners, your guess is as good as mine when that will be, there should be a massive improvement in the quality of coaches appointed and how the kids are coached.

In the meantime, John, God help us!

My nephew is currently training with Glentoran's first team. My sister told me a 16 year old at Linfield is on his way to Everton.

Brighton were after him but apparently we've won the race according to the Belfast Telegraph.

Danny (5),

Thanks for the link. I hope we've got a future good'un and good luck to your nephew with Glentoran.
