Michael Kenrick 2 Posted 28/09/2024 at 14:00:10 Yea, great finish by City there... they say... But closer examination shows it screws off the defender's heel... so perhaps not so great. Paul Ferry 3 Posted 28/09/2024 at 18:48:56 Here we fecking go - VAR and Wolves do not get on. Paul Ferry 4 Posted 28/09/2024 at 18:50:08 Sorry, couldn't do the VAR, but have a penalty instead, lads. Paul Ferry 5 Posted 28/09/2024 at 18:57:04 Come on, Wolves – Wolverhampton and Warrington. Rob Halligan 7 Posted 29/09/2024 at 14:14:06 Piss poor by the Aston Villa goalkeeper, reportedly supposed to be the best in the world. Tractor boys lead 1-0. Rob Halligan 8 Posted 29/09/2024 at 14:19:26 More piss poor play, this time by Ipswich. A defender, almost on the by-line plays a pass across the face of goal to Rogers, who then takes a return pass from Ollie Watkins to slot home. Rob Halligan 9 Posted 29/09/2024 at 14:35:03 2-1 Villa. Free header in the 6-yard box for Ollie Watkins to head home. Joe McMahon 10 Posted 29/09/2024 at 15:49:37 C'mon, Villa, we can't have Ipswich above us! Andrew Merrick 11 Posted 29/09/2024 at 16:10:34 Ipswich go above us on goal difference, but I will still take the positives from this weekend.Jarrad's back, played the full game. We got the monkey off our back, a first win under the belt.We have some quality and a bit more variation in the squad. The new ownership is feeling real, and could be done for Xmas; that and at least one full-back in the window will raise the bar, and the noise around Goodison will be so much better Rob Halligan 12 Posted 29/09/2024 at 17:12:37 Hahaha…..Bruno Fernandes gets a straight red card!! Paul Ferry 13 Posted 29/09/2024 at 18:10:42 Lovely centre-forward play by Solanke – great anticipation. Kunal Desai 14 Posted 29/09/2024 at 18:29:41 If Man Utd can wait a little longer, Dyche should be free to take over them. 🤣 Mark Murphy 15 Posted 29/09/2024 at 18:47:23 I just watched MotD and I have 2 questions:1) How the fuck can they say that was a penalty for Palace?2) How come Trossard played when he got sent off last week?? Brian Williams 16 Posted 29/09/2024 at 18:49:34 Served his ban for the cup game. Mike Connolly 17 Posted 29/09/2024 at 19:03:57 Surely Southgate must go to Man Utd now!!! Paul Ferry 18 Posted 29/09/2024 at 19:05:52 Tuchel, Mike? Mark Murphy 19 Posted 29/09/2024 at 20:25:50 Is that true, Brian? So, if he had been an Everton player, he would've missed a league game for us? That doesn't seem fair to me? Surely Premier League offences should attract Premier League sanctions? Brian Williams 20 Posted 29/09/2024 at 20:44:40 That's what they said on the TV game commentary, mate. Martin Reppion 21 Posted 29/09/2024 at 21:47:16 The bans for bookings etc don't have any logic. If a player gets sent off in a reserve fixture, he is banned for first-team games. They should apply the rule used in European comps. All cards and bans count only in the competition for which they are incurred. Mark Murphy 22 Posted 30/09/2024 at 09:05:53 I'm not doubting you, Brian, it just doesn't seem fair. Has that rule recently changed? Brian Williams 23 Posted 30/09/2024 at 09:29:59 I dunno mate. I didn't think it was right myself but he was playing so I thought the rules must have changed.Mind you, probably not changed for Everton – just the Sly Six. 🤣Update: Yeh, seemingly suspensions are for "domestic" games not just the competition they were received in. Paul Ferry 24 Posted 30/09/2024 at 20:41:36 Saints are going down aren't they? We just need two more now, Paul Hewitt 25 Posted 30/09/2024 at 20:53:33 There shocking PF. But Bournemouth do look good. They have a decent manager Paul Ferry 26 Posted 30/09/2024 at 21:04:10 They do Hewey. I also think that Silva is doing great at Fulham so far mate. Paul Hewitt 27 Posted 30/09/2024 at 21:12:11 That's one back Paul Ferry 28 Posted 30/09/2024 at 21:59:07 Bournemouth looked well comfy Hewey and they leap frog Ten Hag's miserable crew.
