Dele Alli was spotted in the stands at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Sunday, 15 December for their 2-0 win against Roma, with Dan Friedkin also in attendance. The former England international has been out of contract since his Everton deal expired in the summer but has been training with the club during efforts to overcome long-term fitness issues. “I met him yesterday, I don’t want to talk about that today,” the 37-year-old said, via Alfredo Pedulla. Article continues below video content “There’s a chance he could train with us after Christmas, but only to get back into shape.” The 28-year-old moved to Everton in January 2022 but hasn’t played a single game since the 2022-23 campaign when he was on loan at Besiktas but sustained an injury that needed surgery.
