Robert made history earlier this year after becoming the first Evertonian to score a goal at Hill Dickinson Stadium. He found the back of the net against Wigan Athletic at the ground’s maiden test event back in February. He has been impressive for the U18s and has scored two goals and assisted another two in his five league games with the Young Blues. Robert joined the Everton Academy as a seven-year-old and has taken rapid strides over the years. “It’s a surreal moment for me and my family,” said the 17-year-old after signing the new deal. “It’s what you dream about growing up as a kid – to be a professional footballer at Everton. A massive club. “With my development, I feel like I’ve improved a lot as a player, so I’m very happy with that. “I joined when I was seven and I’ve been here throughout that time. I’m grateful to the coaches, staff and everyone who has helped and been there for me.
