Seamus Coleman and Jake O’Brien starred for the Republic of Ireland as they pulled off a major upset in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Boys in Green secured a stunning 2-0 victory over Portugal at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Troy Parrott scored twice in the first half while Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for violent conduct in the second half, making a comeback harder for Roberto Martinez’s side.
Coleman and O’Brien played the entire 90 minutes but despite the three points picked up against Portugal, Ireland are still third in Group F. However, they’re just one point behind second-placed Hungary and three behind leaders Portugal with just one round of games left.

I'm hoping him and Jake can rinse and repeat on Sunday.

If he gets through the Hungary game, I'd start him at Man Utd, and play Garner in his proper position. O'Brien also excelled at centre-back.

O'Brien also did very well as centre-back also considering they were under pressure defending with discipline for most of the match.
