In a flurry of deadline-day activity for loan deals, Everton Reserves defender Jake Bidwell is the latest Academy prospect to be farmed out on loan to get first-team experience in the lower divisions, his destination: Brentford.

Well he did make it. He found his way to Brentford and got on the team bus and was on the bench today against Rochdale
