U21 keeper on 1-month loan to Chesterfield

Everton Under-21s goalkeeper Connor Hunt has joined Chesterfield on a one-month loan. Hunt moved to the Toffees from Blackpool in the summer, and was named on the bench for the Spireites home match against Oldham Athletic.

So difficult for a young goalkeeper to get competitive football. Hopefully it's a good move for him.

Also interesting to note. Chesterfield play in the same colours as Everton and a fan would call himself a "True Blue."

The manager, Paul Cook, is a Liverpool born lad who took over the reins at Sligo Rovers in 2007 and revitalised the career of young Seamus Coleman who was not rated by the previous coach. "He told me I was the best," said Seamus, "and turned me into a proper player."

Recent Champions of Division 2, Chesterfield play in a brand new £13m stadium.

Their oldest ever player was Billy Kidd, age 40.
