Everton's Under-18s saw their unbeaten record this season come to an end with a 2-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers today.

The Young Blues fell behind early at Brockhall but an own goal off Callum Lees' cross brought them back level later in the first half.

Rovers' U18s restored their lead, however, just before half-time via a strike from distance.

Paul Tait's half-time substitute, Anthony Evans was then shown a straight red with an hour gone helping as Blackburn hold on for the win.

Everton U18s: O’Loughlin, Lees, Yarney, Myers, Feeney, Davies (Kiersey), Bainbridge (Harrington), Donohue, Bramall, Broadhead, Morris (46' Evans).
