Good stuff again, Ken. Thank you.

Wasn't one for the ages, but Kevin and Rom showed plenty of skill on the goals.

Always enjoy your reports, Ken. In this case, I particularly applaud your ability to remain awake through the entire first half. I found it downright hypnotic myself.

Great report again Ken. Always a very accurate account at least in my eyes. The shirt sponsor allowed a charity to use the game to promote itself. Chang will be back on the shirt next week. Merry Christmas to you all, bring on the window

Report gives a witness account of how we played, never saw the game, just MotD, which shows next to nothing.

I was glad you explained that Gana's effort from Lukaku's pass wasn't the sitter it was reported, by others, to be. He might have done better, but the pass, although accurate, was hit with great pace on it, so I didn't think it was the sitter it was supposed to be and I've seen great strikers miss those type of chances.

Glad you included all the Everton supporters at the game, nearly three months without an away victory and yet they still turn up in their thousands and give their wholesome support, and have been given little back this season. I hope they all had a great and deserved day at Leicester; I know two of my grandsons did.

I never say that Evertonians are the best supporters in the country, but we are as good as any other set of fans and better than a lot of them. I hope we can start a decent run with this morale-boosting win.

Thanks again, Ken, for your report.

Another spot on report, Ken. I also made Ashley Williams man of the match.

I was wondering what you made of what appeared to be an argument he had with Gueye in the second half when Seamus and Holgate seemed to act as peacemakers? Gueye had been guilty of some sloppy play on the edge of the box as we struggled to clear our lines. If Williams had given him a rollicking, it was fully deserved.

Romelu's goal illustrated his value to the team. There are some who say he only scores tap-in goals. Yesterday his goal was one of many he has scored for us demonstrating his ability to beat defenders with pace and skill and finish with aplomb. Most Premier League teams would be delighted to have someone like him in their ranks.

I fully agree, John. Lukaku is a gem and must be kept at all costs. He does so well without support and it is no wonder he thinks about leaving. Get a schemer in the side plus a second striker in the Vardy mould or even a younger version of Defoe.

Make it so that we have more threat in the side as opponents are concentrating on starving Lukaku as that causes our goal threat to dwindle away.

Nice to see Mirallas get a goal, let's hope it starts a run for him.

Make this January window really beneficial to the squad and get a player who can get the best out of big Rom, Mirallas and Barkley. Plus a partner for Lukaku!!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, let's hope that 2017 is successful for Everton and its deserving fans.
