Paul,

I agree with your assessments. While it didn't all come off for Ross who clearly wanted a goal, he was a constant thorn in their side.

Tom's scampering runs are a joy and Gana's chase back when he uncharacteristically lost the ball to go and win it and ride several tackles was really good. We need that fight for the derby.

Good win, Mordor next, which brings me on to this stat:

"Enner Valencia has only played 96 minutes for Everton in 2017. In the time he has been on the pitch, we have scored eight goals."

Start him at the RS, 8 goals to the good straight away, simple.

A lot of people keep questioning Ashley Williams's ability. I understand that at times he looks ungainly however this since the turn of the year our goals against makes good reading.

He and Seamus are the ever present in the defence, he must be doing something right. Also Robles's contribution cannot be dismissed.

I'd agree with most of the above, but I'd go as far as to give Jags an 8.

I thought he was absolutely rock solid and won some big big defensive headers.

Paul (#4). Yes, the goals against since the turn of the year does look impressive. At home. It's away from home which worries me.

Spurs carved us open with ease on a number of occasions and the scoreline flattered us. I just hope Koeman doesn't go into the derby with the same mindset. Otherwise, I fear it could be another miserable weekend.

Don't know why but I fancy us at Man Utd The derby... well; I just know what's going to happen...
