Everton Under-23s play Norwich City on Friday in Group D of the Premier League Cup at Goodison Park.

Kick-off is at 7 pm and entry is free to season ticket holders.

It's the U23s' second of six games in the group, after they beat Wolves 1-0 early last month to head the group table. The other team in Group D is Portsmouth.

I thought I read a couple of weeks ago that Everton U23s were due to play at Goodison on Tuesday November 8th? l am not sure if it was against Blackpool.

Yes, Dave, that is in a different competition, the EFL Trophy. It's a battle to keep all these new U23 formats straight but they are all in the name of giving the youngsters more competitive games some against first-team pros from the lower leagues.

Everton are advertising tickets for that Blackpool game:

Everton v Blackpool, EFL Trophy

But nothing for the Norwich game. I can't see both games being played at Goodison back-to-back, and it's not listed at Southport FC's site, which usually calls out the U23 games played at the Merseyrail Community Stadium.

That only leaves Finch Farm...

Michael (4) I just had a look at Norwich City's OS and they only give the date of the game and the kick-off time, there's no mention of the venue.

According to the ticket office, the Norwich City game is at Goodison Park tomorrow at 7:00pm, free to season ticket holders.

The Blackpool game next Tuesday is £5, £2 concessions. I forgot to ask the time for this game.

Dave is correct. I've had confirmation from the club that it is at Goodison, ko 7pm.

Thanks for the confirmation, Lyndon. Can't believe they haven't made more of this in terms of pre-match build-up.

I assume Niasse is still out injured? He's missed the last two U23 games. Others expected to play include Holgate, Jones, Walsh, Davies, Calvert-Lewin, and Dowell who should all be pressing for futher chances to impress on the perilous path to the first-team, injuries permitting, of course.

Michael, I'd be surprised if Liam Walsh plays he was carried off vs Chelsea on Monday night. It will be interesting to see if Harry Charsley plays.

Won't Holgate be traveling with the first team?
