Jonjoe Kenny was the only player who came over to the fans who stayed in the ground after Saturday's game and had a word with the fans and said he was sorry that he and the other players couldn't give them the win we all wanted. All of the other players had a look at the fans but ignored their shouts to come over and have a word with them.

I wish was young enough to join those fans at the ground tonight, they realise the club is dying on its feet and want desperately, as most of us do, for someone inside the club to get us up off the floor and back on our feet before the count of ten, that's is where we are now.

If ever a picture has made me sick, it's the one of Kenwright, obviously thinking he looks “fine & dandy” – with his shades on that was defaced tonight, although the clue to his association with Everton, is where it's been situated. Outside the “ticket office” on his Everton timeline, that ran out of batteries, the day the man kidded his way into our club.

You've played many blinders Bill, but hopefully those "plenty of good times" is going to be death of your long time, failed association with Everton, although it's probably to late to rejoice, because of the long term damage that you have done over many years, because you refused to ever let go.

Moshiri, do the right thing, bring proper ruthless professional people into our club, and then fuck off, and leave them to get on with their jobs.

Newcastle supporters protested for years about Ashley and did so at every game but he only left when he was offered the money he wanted. The days when clubs relied on the money they get off supporters through gate receipts are long gone, now it's sponsors and Sky money which produces at least 75% or more of our income.

For years the fans yearned for someone with the wealth of Usmanov to take control but as we have witnessed that injection of wealth has propelled us backwards not forwards.

I know the rules on fit and proper people to run a football clubs are a joke – on what grounds would the Saudi Crown prince ever pass a fit and proper test after having the blood of Jamal Koshoggi on his hands. Likewise Abramovich who has had his passport revoked.

I would also doubt our famous duo would pass a stern test of how they acquired their wealth. I think we need to really push our owner into selling up asap as he is certainly not fit to run our football club.

Despite the protests, I fully expect Pereira to be appointed as our next manager, I mean, this is a man who appointed Benitez and Allardyce.

Moshiri is by far our biggest problem and there is one course and one course of action only that should be taken and that's for Moshiri to bring in a top DOF and completely get out of the way himself. Obviously the same for Kenwright.

You have to consider if 'Moshtinov' make all these bad decisions on purpose. If they choose the Frenchman over Lampard that has got to be the case!

I expect the 'field' to be reduced to one by attaching a salary which will appeal only to Periera enabling them to paint Lampard as a greedy bastard.

Hi Julie. You're not alone! Bill's made some mistakes and he's a bit of a luvvy with a habit of putting his foot in his mouth but I've only ever seen him as a very nice man who loves the club.

For me, Moshiri is much more culpable for the mess we're in and the disappointment over the last few years. He's been the majority shareholder for the last six years so the buck stops with him. He has the power to make sure the right decisions are made and he's failed again and again.

Under Bill we had regular top 7 finishes, occasional European qualification, even a Champion League qualification. Good enough? No. But a bloody miracle considering our financial resources. Somehow Moshiri came in with his money and we've gone backwards.

How does Kenwright attract such criticism and bile while Moshiri does not? I don't understand it. Like it or not, Bill is a blue and wants success just like the rest of us while Moshiri is, one way or another, in this for one reason alone: to eventually make money.

Anyone sticking up for Kenwright has been brainwashed by the years and years of his carefully managed bullshit via a complicit media and have actually become part of the problem. It's shameful.

All of what you have in your post may well be true, however, the former Coronation Street actor has done pretty well from being the figure-head of the club, both in terms of International presitge, which is useful when you're trying to raise money to produce musicals etc and he's done pretty well on the financial side too.

Bill Kenwright has made himself £40 million out of running Everton into the ground and selling all our assets. I am a similar age and if I had done what he has done while professing to love the club, I would expect to be run out of town.

My stance with Bill has been similar to what I was like with Moyes. I kind of understood it at the time in that no-one else was touching us and we had to do what was necessary. I defended it for quite a while in total honesty.

But over time it became apparent that we had gone as far as the regime had taken us. Both on and off the pitch. It had served it's purpose.

I think Bill's time was done once he finally got the investor we'd been promised and Moshiri came in. Okay, maybe a transition period. We have an owner that wants to rule from afar but can't help dabbling and I suspect that is in part because deep down he doesn't trust the board. So it should have been replaced and he should have put his own stamp on the board.

He's getting everything right, seemingly on the Stadium front. Put the right people in place to get it right on the football front. Otherwise, it's more of the same. It hasn't changed.

I don't think age is a factor. You see these 95-year-old Nazi war criminals being prosecuted and you hear the same thing "He's just a poor old man now," but he still did what he did.

Likewise, Bill was a pompous deceptive owner who happily fired managers causing grief for them and their families. He refused to cede control and has hung around long enough that he can play the "poor old man" card.

The other thing that's funny is that before Moshiri took over fans were on his case and suddenly we had the "Bill is deathly ill" routine and yet, years later, he has seemed right as rain again until now. Suddenly, when people criticize him, he is a sick old man.

Firstly, I agree with you Moshiri is not going anywhere so we all might as well get over it. Unless of course he can find someone with north of £1bn to buy him out.
He is culpable in no small measure for the position we find ourselves in. His dereliction in abandoning the club and his investment to the hands of a totally inadequate board of directors, borders on criminal.

The heart went out the club the day Bill Kenwright mortgaged the Old Lady to the hilt, took out expensive BVI loans secured against future TV rights and season ticket sales, sold Bellfield and rented Finch Farm and got into bed with Phillip Green.

He then lost the 'ring fenced' £30m for Kings Dock and tried to take us to Kirkby.

His 24/7 search for investment ignored at least 3 plausible options, notably selling the club and the city down the road by refusing to sell to the Sheik, who eventually ended up at Eastlands. Why? Because he wanted to stay on and the Sheik required a clean slate.

Bill's health is completely immaterial. As someone on this thread has already pointed out he said, not that long ago, that he would be gone by the time he was 70 as his doctor would not allow him to continue longer.

His intimation that fans should really be satisfied by the few meagre high points during his extensive time on the board does not suggest he has set the highest of standards for himself. Julie (58) if it's possible could you tell us what these health problems are, they have been aired before, different types, always when Everton FC are not doing very well on the field, one of them was he wouldn't see Christmas, that was about five years ago, glad he recovered from that particular brush with death, I hope that illness hasn't returned and he picks up again soon.
