I haven't been watching the matches but see that Fluminense have got an experienced defender in their team, name of Thiago Silva.

Seems if you're good enough, you're old enough!

Assuming Chelsea win their semi-final, the final is next Sunday, 13 July, and Chelsea will return back to London on 14 July. Do their players then get a few weeks away from football and begin their preseason training around the middle of August, or are they right back into training?

No doubt their players will be demanding a break away from football, citing they've played too much football, whilst the club owners will be sitting down, counting the millions they have just won.

Two-nil to Real Madrid, Madrid player jumping up and down like a monkey behind the goalkeeper, then Madrid score, how is that not affecting the keeper? He's in front of him then behind, offside rule really is a joke.

The other Madrid goal, the player is off the pitch, comes back on, receives the ball and a goal is scored. How is that player not offside?

Ohhhh I could scream!!!! I don't give a toss, actually. Bellingham just missed a sitter, that's a shame. I swear if that fucking commentator says Junehoe or Melan again I'll turn it off. You are fucking English, you lemon! 😕

That lemon commentator reminds me of a joke.

Two tourists were driving through Wisconsin. As they were approaching Oconomowoc, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town's name. They argued until they stopped for lunch.

As they stood at the counter, one tourist asked the blonde employee. "Before we order, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are... very slowly? The blonde girl leaned over the counter and said, "Burrrrrr, gerrrrrr, Kiiiing." 😁

I enjoy that joke, if only because – and I swear this is true – I have actually eaten at the Burger King in Oconomowoc.

Mike, how do you pronounce Oconomowoc? 😁😁

Mike

Feck Oconomowoc... you've eaten in Burger King?

Rob, I pronounce it “ Wisconsin“.

Brendan, not my fault. My baby brother was throwing a tantrum and he was at a stage where all he would eat was Burger King. Half a century later, he still throws tantrums to get his way. He's been divorced five times.

Very eventful finish.

That's the first time I've ever seen three goals, a red card and a miracle save in 5 minutes of stoppage time.

Mike, to have eaten in Burger King?

No way, man! 😁

Mike, that was never a penalty.

I would have given two red cards to the two lemons who kept saying Trent! Trent! Trent!

Mike 9. Here is a question for you.

What has Africa got in common with Oconomowoc?

Paul Kossoff

Africa is a song written by the band Toto. Toto is Dorothy's dog in Wizard of Oz. Oconomowoc, the city in southeastern Wisconsin, hosted the movie's world premiere back on 12 August 1939, at the Strand Theatre.

In 2019, a site was constructed called Oz Plaza, which has a permanent small-scale yellow brick road, and statues of the four main characters, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and Dorothy's dog Toto,

That is some dazzling trivia knowledge. Yowza!

And to think I was about to answer Paul's question thusly, thereby revealing my intellectual inferiority:

1. They're both hotter than hell in the summertime.

2. They both have Burger King.

Salaam and respects.

Thanks lads. I've always had a weird bent on making up stupid or obscure quiz questions. I'm touched. No, really I am touched, I'm under pysiciatric help.😕
