Everton U18s recorded their third win of the season over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon at The Nigel Doughty Academy.

Goals from Ray Robert and Justin Clarke in the first half set them on their way, but things got heated in added time at the end when Demi Akarakiri was sent off and George Morgan banged home a penalty to seal the win.

The Young Blues had already beaten Forest 2-1 at home in the U18 Premier League, and 7-0 in the FA Youth Cup.

Everton U18s: Patrick, Finney, Van Schoor, Davis, Gardner, Foster, Clarke (67' Stewart), Akarakiri [R:90'], Morgan, Robert (77' Loney), Wren.
Subs not Used: Gospel-Eze, Freedman, Billington.

This result takes to 4th place in the U18 Premier League and a chance to compete in the Premier League International Cup next season.

Is the new coach, Kieth Southern, making a difference to the squad? Seems to be doing better with the results than the previous coach who has been promoted to the first team squad. Just a thought.
