Too bad. Rob Halligan 2 Posted 09/03/2025 at 18:00:37 Details of Evertons pre-season tour of the USA have now been released…………. Danny O'Neill 3 Posted 09/03/2025 at 18:03:13 Just had the notification from the club Rob. That might be the summer holiday sorted out. My mate and his family are flying up to Chicago. Big West Ham supporters. Paul Ferry 4 Posted 09/03/2025 at 18:09:26 We don't have a good record in Chicago. But July 30 it is. It will be fecking hot even on the edge of the lake but there will be some breeze. Paul Ferry 5 Posted 09/03/2025 at 18:17:50 Good to see some tough matches in the pre-season at exactly the right time for preparation. I'll look forward to seeing our new signings. Paul Ferry 6 Posted 09/03/2025 at 18:23:33 Danny O'Neill 7 Posted 09/03/2025 at 19:29:16 The last time I was in the Windy City, was 4th July 2016 as part of a trip that took us from Las Vegas to Boston.Watching the fireworks from Navy Pier was some sight. We visited Soldier Field to have a look around. There was a bar we went to in the city. I didn't know about it and can't remember the name, but apparently famous for a US TV series and pictures all over the walls of famous people who have visited. Ian Wilkins 8 Posted 09/03/2025 at 19:35:17 This year's pre-season seemed very low key and very poor. Felt like it contributed to a poor start to the season, we didn't seem ready. Hopefully, more competitive games against better teams will have us better prepared. Liam Mogan 9 Posted 09/03/2025 at 20:00:22 Seemed like Dyche didn't know how to get teams going in August to me. He had a terrible record in early season games with both us and Burnley. Probably related to his prehistoric Gaffers Day shtick and general outdated pie, mash and gravy ideas. The better seasons under Moyes usually involved strong starts, if I remember correctly. Ian Burns 10 Posted 09/03/2025 at 20:12:12 This is great news. I will be in Alabama at that time and the Atlanta stadium for the Manu Utd game is little more than a 2-hour drive for me. As Ian W says, let's hope a more competitive pre-season sets us up for a positive August start. Nigel Scowen 11 Posted 09/03/2025 at 20:47:49 Myself and a few of the lads love the preseason, had some decent trips over the years. It's a chance to go away, get some sun, drink some beer and catch up with some old mates from back home. We have all followed different paths and are located all over the place these days. Looking forward to this one. Nigel Scowen 12 Posted 09/03/2025 at 20:57:12 Mike @1,That's a shame, would have been good to say hello over a beer. Frank McGregor 13 Posted 09/03/2025 at 21:04:07 One of the pubs you may want to try is the Emerald Loop. I was there a few years ago when Moyes was manager for pre season game at Chicago Fire's ground. Had a great night there.
