Everton have confirmed their opening pre-season friendlies as David Moyes’ side prepare for the 2025/26 campaign. The Blues will play two fixtures in the UK before flying off the United States for Premier League Summer Series.
The Toffees’ pre-season will begin with a clash against League Two outfit Accrington Stanley. The match will take place at the Wham Stadium on 15 July (7:45 pm BST). It will be followed by the Blues taking on Blackburn Rovers who narrowly missed out on Championship play-offs last month. The friendly has been scheduled for 19 July (3:00 pm BST).
Ticket details for both friendlies and information on live streams via evertonfc.com will be announced soon.
The games against Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers will be followed by the Premier League Summer Series on US soil where the Blues will face Bournemouth, West Ham and Manchester United.
The US tour will begin with Everton taking on Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 26 July. Moyes will then face his former side West Ham United at the Soldier Field in Chicago just four days later. The Summer Series comes to an end with the Blues taking on Manchester United, led by Ruben Amorim, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on 3 August.
Everton will also play another pre-season friendly after returning from the United States but the details surrounding the fixture, including the opponent, are yet to be confirmed.

And if they could take a truckload of shirts with them they may be able to sell some merch while there.
Anyone heard anything about TFG taking control of our merch operations or perhaps even renegotiating the terms to make it more accessible?
I assume the catering at BMD is still outsourced?

Accrington on a Tuesday night followed by Blackburn on Saturday.
Then hopefully Chicago.
Summer holiday's in Liverpool and the Windy City.
Still waiting on the finale at the Everton Stadium?

We'll have to take bottles of milk. Those who know understand.
Just not sterilised.

AS Roma does seem an obvious fit.

Looking forward to both games, and as others have already said, good opposition to brush off the cobwebs.
I agree also that it looks very likely As Roma at Bramley-Moore Dock will double up as the third test event. If so, the club must be very confident of no safety concerns or at least nothing of significance.

She's found the transition from city life to "rural" life quite a change of pace.

It looks like there may be points that are specific to John Textors majority at Lyon / minority at Palace that make it an outlier situation.
Dont the entities who own City, Arsenal and Newcastle have other big European clubs in their ‘stables?
