Season › 2024-25 › News The Rumour Mill Yves Bissouma “out of favour” with new Spurs manager, Thomas Frank Michael Kenrick | 18/09/2025 3comments | Jump to last Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma, one of the many players linked with a possible move to Everton in the summer, is said to be “out of favour” with new Spurs manager, Thomas Frank. The Transfer Window has thankfully closed, with Everton securing 9 player signatures that David Moyes had asked for. But the clickbait sites can't resist coming up with stories for what might (or more liekely, might not) happen in January. And it seems the 29-year-old could leave in January as Everton were supposedly keen on signing in the summer. He is valued at only £22 million but his contract expires at the end of the season, which should reduce any fee paid. Thomas Frank, however, has maintained that he views Bissouma as a part of his plans, so it is by no means a given that he would be allowed to leave in January in spite of his contractual situation. Disclaimer () Gaute Lie 1 Posted 18/09/2025 at 14:58:25 We could need a defensive midfielder, but my preference in January would be a right back, and a decent striker who can score goals. If Beto or Barry starts to score, then a RB and a decent defensive midfielder.I don't know if this guy is good enough, tough. He aint no Gueye, is he? Paul Kernot 2 Posted 18/09/2025 at 21:32:34 If reports are to be believed, he also has history Gaute. Several reports have mentioned his attitude which I can't see fitting with our new project. Plus he's 29 so doesn't fit the profile anyway. Paul Hewitt 3 Posted 18/09/2025 at 22:10:57 Paul. Spot on. His attitude is appalling apparently. Always late for training. Big no no from me.
