Disclaimer () Jeff Armstrong 1 Posted 01/11/2025 at 18:06:46 At last, a Premier League manager leaves 3 players up top as Spurs have an attacking throw-in, deep in Chelsea's half.Take a bow, Maresco, now do it at corners and you might start a trend for the better. Moyes and everyone else... take note. Edward Rogers 2 Posted 01/11/2025 at 20:41:28 That was bugging me last week as well. Every corner to Spurs we had everyone back, no outlet at all. Dave Abrahams 3 Posted 01/11/2025 at 20:50:25 Why do they fuck about from the 6-yard area??? No bleedin' need for it, especially giving those bastards an open goal to shoot into. Jeff Armstrong 4 Posted 01/11/2025 at 21:03:00 Edward, it's every game, against every team, season after season, no outlet, even with pacey players (we've had one or two sometimes). It's so lazy, absolutely no imagination from the manager to try something different now and then. Liam Mogan 5 Posted 01/11/2025 at 21:05:27 It's been coming all game that, Dave. Villa lucky not to concede earlier pissing about. They have ran through the RS at will at times though. Robert Tressell 6 Posted 01/11/2025 at 21:20:23 Here's a question: Would you prefer our squad with Moyes as manager, or Dyche as manager but we get Forest's squad? Jeff Armstrong 7 Posted 01/11/2025 at 21:34:30 I think I'd go with Moyes. It's the same question about our (basically) current squad: Dyche couldn't get a tune out of them, Moyes did. Tony Abrahams 8 Posted 01/11/2025 at 21:35:28 I was reading about Moyes and his time at Sunderland, Robert, and then I was thinking how well Dyche did to keep us in the Premier League under circumstances that were possibly a lot worse than anything David encountered during the season he took Sunderland down.I think the squads at both Everton and Forest have got some good, some very good, and also some average players, so it'll be interesting to see which club comes higher.Let Forest come higher, but please let Everton win the FA Cup!!! Michael Kenrick 9 Posted 02/11/2025 at 14:37:42 Excellent strike by Paqueta beats Pope -- from 25 yards. Ian Bennett 10 Posted 02/11/2025 at 15:52:44 We are getting dragged back into it... West Ham won, Forest drew. Andrew Merrick 11 Posted 02/11/2025 at 17:06:11 O for a Haaland... Michael Kenrick 12 Posted 02/11/2025 at 17:06:40 Brilliant persistence, determination and shooting skill by Haaland. O'Reilly with an almost identical chance, messes it up. Edward Rogers 13 Posted 02/11/2025 at 17:14:09 So you can impede the opposition goalie and your goal stands!!! Mike Gaynes 14 Posted 02/11/2025 at 17:22:29 As long as you're not offside when you do it. Jack Convery 15 Posted 02/11/2025 at 17:38:24 Mike, Pawson should never have been called to the screen for an offside call. Like Donarumma today, the Spurs keeper was not prevented from saving the header. It was going in due to the speed on it. In another reality, it's a goal and, for me, it's a goal in our own reality. Just as Tarkowski's so-called handball was never a handball. I'm just annoyed the Villa let us all down yesterday! I'm tipping us to win Monday night. COYBs. Though given my luck on Saturday's ITV7 horse racing game, 6 winners and The Real Whacker let me down!! £50k went up in smoke. Andy Meighan 16 Posted 02/11/2025 at 18:26:21 My god, Jack, that is unlucky. Some going like getting 6 winners. I have trouble getting 1 of my nags to win.Charlton let me down yesterday for a few hundred, but I keep on going.
