Tim Cahill helped himself to a hat-trick as Everton retained their 100% record in pre-season with victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road, newly transferred ex-Blue John Ruddy featured in goal for teh home side.
Tim Howard and Steven Pienaar got their first run-outs since returning from their post-World Cup break but it was Cahill who took control, firing in two first-half goals, the first the result of an error by ex-Blue John Ruddy.
Crofts and Surman leveled matters for the hosts in the first quarter of hour after half-time, but Diniyar Bilyaletdinov pulled another stunner out of his box of tricks to restore Everton's two-goal lead a minute later and Cahill completed his treble with 19 minutes to go.
