Disclaimer Habib Erkan Jr 2 Posted 06/01/2021 at 04:27:54 Thanks, Tony. As an American Toffee, I enjoy learning about our history. Gareth Williams 3 Posted 06/01/2021 at 14:26:25 A good interesting article. My sister lives near Kendal. Dennis Stevens 4 Posted 06/01/2021 at 18:32:58 Thanks for your efforts, Tony. These historical pieces are always interesting, this one a little more so than usual for me as I currently reside in Portsmouth & so have a passing interest in the local club. Brent Stephens 8 Posted 06/01/2021 at 19:01:08 Thanks, Tony. A good read. Allen Rodgers 10 Posted 08/01/2021 at 11:05:29 Very interesting. I lived and worked in Kendal some years ago and know Maude's Meadow. It still exists as a public park but I never knew it had once been a football ground.
