Everton U18s draw with Nottingham Forest
Everton U18s 2 - 2 Nottingham Forest U18s
Everton U18s play host to their Nottingham Forest counterparts at Finch Farm today, kick-off at 12 noon.
After a very poor start to the season, the form of Leighton Baines's charges has progressively improved, with last week's comeback win at Blackburn extending their unbeaten run in the U18 Premier League to 6 games since their last defeat at Middlesbrough in October.
Everton took the lead just before the half-hour with Calum Bates getting on the scoresheet but Forest came back to equalize just 3 minutes later. But the visitors then scored again to take a 2-1 lead into the half-time break.
Everton made a number of changes in the second half and Martin Sherif got the tying goal in the final minutes.
Everton U18s: Jensen, Dixon/Quintyne (65' Maher), Wright, O Samuels-Smith, Wilson (79' Davis), Armstrong, Beaumont-Clark, Bates, Sherif, Cahill (72' Catesby), Smikle-James (80' Morgan).
Subs not Used: Graham.
