The guys are still on cloud nine following Everton's tremendous win in the Goodison derby that takes them to the brink of Premier League safety.

They give credit to the players who, to a man, gave 100% to get over the line a victory, orchestrated by Sean Dyche and his staff that will live long in the memory. Could it prove to be the last of the great nights at Goodison Park and, if so, what a way to round off the catalogue of wonderful games under the lights?

Great celebratory podcast. Having now watched the TV replay, I wonder if Ashley Young's hoofed free kick into Row Y of the Street End was deliberate in order to run the clock down.

For a few precious days, we have been able to talk about football instead of financial accountancy, takeover bids and points deductions. We can only hope progress on the field of play is matched by progress off it.

Haven't listened yet but there have been a few moments where I've wondered if we're seeing a 'last time at Goodison' type moment.

The Old Lady really deserves a good send-off.

Great listen, gents.

Re: How the match will be referred to, and as an adaptation of the suggestion on the podcast, how's about "The Dom-olition Derby".
