On The Banks Of The Royal Blue Mersey is a comical celebration of Everton Football Club, the history of the club, its players and managers, and its unbelievable history. 

Local writers Steve Bird (Keeping FaithChasing Rainbows & Mothers Ruin) and Paul Daley (The Bitters & The Manopause) have created a comedy that charts the history of Everton from its first home in Anfield to the building of Goodison Park and all the iconic and memorable moments that will live long in every Everton fan's memory. 

The writers have merged factual history with some light-hearted sketches to create a comedy that is not just for Everton supporters, or even football supporters, but for everyone who enjoys a laugh.

Directed by Lee Clotworthy (Out The Woodwork) and a cast filled with Merseyside’s finest acting talent, On The Banks Of The Royal Blue Mersey promises to be a laugh-aloud celebration of Everton past, present, and future.

The cast is Roxanne Male, Chris Powers, Frances Brack, Jordan Spratt, Ted Grant, Tommy Tyler Morgan, Norman Woods (Tech), and Wayne Stuart-Cole.

After nine sold-out productions in Liverpool, the show is coming to Wirral for one night only on Friday, 21 March, at The Little Theatre,  Birkenhead.
