Testing semi-automatic offside for 18 months and still not bringing it in yet! How on earth can it still need testing?

I hate the VAR implementation of the offside rule but at least this should improve the speed of decision-making.

I agree, Michael. It's the interpretation of the rule. In fact, it's the rule itself, which needs looking at and reviewing in my opinion.

We shouldn't have big toes counting as offside.

And with me having criticised officials and still do, it may help them.

I keep saying, VAR isn't the problem, it's the implementation. Football has made a song and dance of it, causing a lot of resentment amongst supporters.
