Everton are now providing details about what the different stands at the new Everton Stadium have to offer.

The information and online tools the club provides between now and the Season Ticket sales period opening in January 2025 will help Season Ticket Members make an informed decision about where they would like to sit at our new home.

This includes a new and improved interactive seat map that will allow supporters to see the view from different areas across the stadium that will help Season Ticket Members choose their seats.

Anyone other than me (saddo) watching the regular video updates on the various stands at the new stadium?

Really good and very informative.

I've seen them, Brian.

I never knew that we would be able to walk around, internally, three-quarters of the stadium. Don't really see the point in that.

Rob,

I think it's with a view to relieve possible congestion at certain food kiosks/toilets etc and also to allow those not lucky enough to be sitting together with different tenure friends to meet up before and after the game within the stadium and at halftime.

Certainly gonna be different from the constraints of The Old Lady.

Rob,

I think that's how the Spurs stadium is. It's to allow access to all the eateries on offer.

To Home fans that is. I was really disappointed that us away fans just get the usual overcrowded concourse bar like in every other ground – no better than Brighton.

(Although I have a tip if any, who haven't already, go to Spurs. There is another bar upstairs overlooking the ground floor bar. There's usually more staff than punters and you can still look over the mayhem below and savour the atmosphere.)

Has anyone heard any rumours on how much season tickets will be next season?

I'm wondering how much more I need to shell out?

Rennie, as far as I know, prices will be revealed late December or January when emails will go out to season ticket holders.

I think they will keep them close to this season's prices for the first season. I cannot see there being more than a £50 hike, if that. I bloody hope so.

Brian…

A £50 increase… wow, you're being wildly hopeful with that. Unless you mean £50 per game! When season ticket prices increased after a seven-year freeze on prices (I think it was 7 years), the increase was a lot more than £50!

Brian Williams

Perhaps he meant 50%?

I reckon a 8-10% increase maximum Rob, I think the following season is where we will get hit with a bigger increase, I would say at a guess, so I’m guessing around an extra £50-£80 max increase for the season, for those of us clapping our hands in the cheap seats, they will hit the hospitality harder which hopefully keeps the rest of us within budget.

Cannot see them hiking them high, even for accounting for waiting list, they will not want to lose a lot of regular holders who might get priced out and will not look good on their first season there, second season is the one we will get hit with.

I'd like to think that's true, Brian, but I think you're being very optimistic! I've been getting the drip-feed of emails but everyone is just waiting for that hammer of the prices.

I wonder how many season tickets they will actually allow? I think I'm right in saying the Kopites have less available than Goodison because they know they can flog a standard ticket for a lot more than they'd get banking the annual season ticket charge. Basically rinsing all those Norwegians that come over every other wee.k 😁

Think you are being optimistic Brian. Cheapest non-discounted tickets this season are in Gwladys Street at £650. I can't see the equivalent price being less than £750 next season.

I've not seen any numbers but I guess there will only be about 40,000 season tickets available. The other 12,888 being taken up by Corporates, Bar memberships, away fans and an allowance for individual match tickets for members etc.

With currently 30,000 season tickets and as many on the waiting list, they can afford to significantly up prices and still sell every ticket.

I think you're all being optimistic.

The prices will be much higher and they'll be higher from next season. There won't be any gradual increase.

My understanding is that the extra seats available for sale to new season ticket holders is about 10,000. I've heard there are about 30,000 on the waiting list for a season ticket. My guess is the actual number on the waiting list is much less than that but significantly above the number of extra ST holder seats to be made available.

Supply and demand suggests that Everton can and will significantly increase prices for the first season at the new stadium (especially given how little prices have increased over recent years).

I suppose Everton have to play a balancing act, given where most of our match-day attending supporters come from. Even in the first season.

I totally expect prices to rise, but maybe it will be incremental.

We need to accept that we have to generate income to become competitive, not stand still like we have done in the past.

I'm getting my nephew's season ticket and picking the seat. Looking at those steep upper stands, with my aches, joints and growing years, I'm going low!

For tomorrow, I'm in the Paddock. Not sat there for years. Maybe I'll get served at half-time!!!

My daughter is on the waiting list and worked out that it said a club can have a maximum of 80% as season ticket holders.

Her calculation worked it out at around 42,000 for season tickets, but I do not know what the calculations are with corporate and if they count towards the season ticket numbers.

Brent Stephens

Brian #69, I understand (can't remember where I read this) that EPL rules require 15-20% of stadium seats to be non-ST seats. And my understanding is that the 80% ST holders at BMD includes the approx 5,500 premium seats (sold out a month or two ago); but it excludes capacity for extra away fan numbers for FA Cup games.

That leaves approx 42,000 seats for sale, with approx 30,000 being taken by current ST holders. The remaining 12,000 must be well below the number on the waiting list (I've also heard a 30,000 waiting list), so supply and demand suggests the club will be able to, and will, significantly increase prices for the first season at BMD, especially given that prices have held steady for a few seasons.

Danny,

"For tomorrow, I'm in the Paddock. Not sat there for years. Maybe I'll get served at half time!!!"

Not after I've had a word with the staff behind the counter!

I think you're right Brent. I think the waiting list list between 20 and 30k.

And throw me a bone!!! Although these days, when I need to go, I need to go and it's a sprint to the toilet.

I'll text you tomorrow to see if you're around.

Brian, you're not the only saddo mate. Whether it's official club updates or Mr Drone on YouTube, I spend most mornings having a look whilst having my brew.

The Fourth Grace looks amazing and we are blessed to have it.

Come to think about it Brian, we're not sad at all.

UTT. 💙👌🏻💪🏼

Brent, with the 2,700 family stand, it's just shy of 44,000.

Most fans will not make their final decision until the prices are released so why not do it now?

I've paid £3.4k in Village Stree. My understanding from when I went in to the Liver Buildings to see a mock-up is that we have 31k on the waiting list.

The increase in capacity has largely gone on hospitality tickets so at best there will be 10k extra seats up for grabs if that….

I can't remember how much my season ticket used to cost back in the day.

Talking to Paul yesterday, when we used to queue up to get in, he used to pay 47p. He won't mind me saying, I'm a generation behind. I used to pay £1.50 with my paper round money.

I think we're just going to have to accept price hikes when we move. I just hope the club don't exclude supporters.

Quite staggering support for a bottom-of-the-League club.

They need to be very careful though because, unless they sort out the quality of the product, that demand won't last forever.

We are still at risk of relegation and seeing Dyche clapping and cavorting at the end of the game yesterday like he'd won the Cup was an insult to the great fans who pay to go and watch the rubbish.

Really after this season's dismal showing, unless they become more interested in what improvements go on to the performances on the pitch, they should reduce the season ticket prices instead of providing more easier facilities to spend your money on inside the stadium.

As it doesn't affect me as much as I live in Canada, and just get back every couple of years, I hate going to a new plush cinema to watch a crap movie.

On a side note, I am extremely jealous, but happy, that our loyal supporters are getting this opportunity to experience this magnificent stadium – enjoy it while you can.

Danny (25),

I paid 9d (about 3½p now) in 1948 to get in the Boys Pen and £12 for my first season ticket in 1969-70 in the Lower Bullens stand.

Both were tremendous value to me as a young boy in 1948 and even better in 1969-70 with the entertainment and a league title thrown in!
